- Room: Outside or in the sunroom.
- Tree: We have many oak trees on our property and there is a huge oak tree that sprawls out over the workshop/shed and a few dogwoods in the backyard.
- Walk: Our neighborhood is very walkable as there is not a thru street. Neighbors are out walking all the time with their families or dogs! Our favorite time is in the Spring when everything is blooming. There are lots of azaleas in the neighborhood, too!
- Beach: We love the proximity to both Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Our favorite to go to is Wrightsville Beach because that's the one we've been going to for many years, even before we lived in this home.
- Breakfast: Drift and Folks Cafe are our two favorite places for Coffee and Breakfast.
- Lunch: Dockside for lunch and K-38 for dinner.
- Pub/Winery: Also, Flying Machine for a great place for drinks.
- Living Here Has Been: We've loved listening to the rain on the metal roof, watching the sunrise from the sunroom windows and the sunset from the front porch. We've loved listening to the crackling of our wood burning fireplace in the Fall and Winter and roasting marshmallows in our backyard firepit year-round. It has been a great home to entertain in, especially in the backyard for cookouts. One of the best parts about this home is all of the natural lighting - everywhere you look, there are windows. The downstairs layout is semi-open which allows for a great flow but also keeps it very cozy. That's one of the best words we could use to describe our home - cozy. Having a large, corner lot has allowed us to have fun with landscaping over the years. We've added a little bit each year and it has been a joy to watch it flourish. We will miss all of this...as well as the quietness of our neighborhood and the community of kind neighbors that live here.
