The Jefferson Park Avenue neighborhood is located immediately adjacent to the University of Virginia. Because of its proximity to UVA, it includes a high percentage of non-owner occupied (i.e., rental) homes, apartments, condominiums, and townhomes. It is a popular spot for UVA students (both undergraduate and graduate) and people affiliated with UVA to live and buy homes. Several commercial districts—including the UVA Corner—border the Jefferson Park Avenue area, making it easy for residents to get to restaurants and services. In addition to the UVA Corner, Scott Stadium is right next to JPA.
