In this installment, we chat with Julie Ballard, an agent in Greene County, Virginia.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Greene County?
Julie Ballard: I was born and raised here!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
JB: I started in property management, which only fueled my passion for real estate, so I took the leap two years ago.
NR: What was your previous career?
JB: I worked in mental health for Compass Counseling with children with autism.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
JB: Nest’s top notch agents and marketing. I wanted to be part of the best!
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
JB: I still love seeing every property and finding the perfect one for each client.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
JB: Happy, energetic, motivated, loyal, and honest.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
JB: Dolly Parton!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
JB: Be patient—this is the biggest, most important decision of your life, aside from marriage.
NR: What is your favorite season in Greene County?
JB: Fall!
