Announcing Nest Property Management

Since Nest Realty launched almost 3 years ago, we’ve focused mainly on helping our clients buy and sell real estate.  It’s an understatement to say that Charlottesville real estate market conditions have changed a bit in the last years.  Because of the major shift in the market, we have been overwhelmed with requests for property management and leasing services.

So, we’ve decided to offer full-service property management services throughout Charlottesville, Albemarle, and the surrounding counties. We’re taking the same philosophies that has allowed Nest Realty to grow – a focus on technology and innovation combined with an unwavering commitment to customer service – and we’re instilling those same principles into Nest Property Management.

We’re excited about this new venture for a few reasons.  But mainly because it allows us to expand our service offerings to our clients.  As much as Realtors are seen as talking heads and always pushing people to buy or sell (no matter what), we’ve been vocal at Nest since Day 1 that buying or selling may not always be the best choice for a particular person.  (That NAR ‘It’s a Great Time To Buy’ campaign actually drove us crazy.)  In fact, our Associates have recommended to plenty of potential buyers NOT to buy and countless homeowners NOT to sell now.

By offering a property management services, we’ll be now able to support those clients and real estate investors (note that investment activity for Charlottesville real estate is on the rise) with a dedicated expert to help them manage their asset.

We’re extremely excited that Sarah Ballard has joined us as our Head Property Manager.  Sarah comes to Nest with 11 years experience in residential and commercial property management. She began her career in the Hampton Roads area with Great Atlantic Real Estate Management Company, and has been providing property management services to the Charlottesville market for the past 7 years.
