Once known as the industrial district, many of the Westside’s factories and warehouses have been converted into cutting edge cultural institutions like the Westside Cultural Arts Center and King Plow Arts Center. The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center’s Studio Artist Program supports 14 local working artists by providing subsidized studio space and fostering a collaborative environment supportive of the creative process. In addition, The Goat Farm Arts Center has become a great place to catch a show and spot celebrities who are filming in Atlanta.
