Charlottesville Calendar: October 1 – October 3

Fall always brings out the best of Central Virginia, but this weekend is extra special.  In fact, I’ll got on the record as saying it’s a monumental week for Charlottesville…and Nest Realty.

Thursday, October 1st @ 7 pm: U2 invades Scott Stadium for the first concert there since the Rolling Stones rocked the house in 2004.  That was a truly memorable show – something Charlottesvillians still talk about today – and this is sure to be just as epic (hopefully without the bomb threat, though).

Friday, October 2nd 5-8pm: The Nest Realty Grand Opening Open House and First Friday’s Art Walk at The Nest office.  If you are Downtown, please feel free to swing by, meet our team, see some great artwork by local artists, and snack on some food from Rev Soup. (We’ve sent an invite to Bono, but aren’t quite sure if he’ll be able to make it.)

Friday, October 2nd – Sunday, October 3rd: Crozet Music Festival.  In its’ 3rd year, the Crozet Music Festival brings out the best in local and regional music.  Featuring over 45 musical acts, food, and festivities, it’s sure to be a good time.

Saturday, October 3rd: Cville Pie Fest.  Check out this celebreation of pie and community in a benefit for PACEM.  It’s at the Crozet Mudhouse from 12-2.  Nest Realty’s own Jim Duncan will be a celebrity judge.

Quite a weekend for Charlottesville and Central Virginia.

Spread the love
