We’re starting to release our next group of Charlottesville real estate videos in our Live Where You Love series. To this point, we’ve focused mainly on areas like Ivy, Crozet, Nelson County, and Northern Albemarle. When we were considering which neighborhoods to spotlight, we immediately thought of Old Trail. Why? It’s impossible to ignore the success that Old Trail has had in our market over the last few years…so we wanted to take the opportunity to tell the story of Old Trail.
At Nest, we’ve seen a definite shift over the last few years in which more and more buyers are desiring to be part of and live in neighborhoods and distinct communities. As a result, neighborhoods like Old Trail and Belvedere have become more and more popular. But there’s more reasons than that for Old Trail’s success: distinct architecture, a variety of price points and housing options, beautiful views, and an array of amenities – golf, trails, a pool, restaurants, etc – have all lead to Old Trail being one of the best selling neighborhoods in Albemarle County over the last few years.
