In this installment, we chat with Amy Rowe, a Realtor® at Nest Realty Fredericksburg.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Fredericksburg?
Amy Row: Fredericksburg, born and raised.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
AR: My father always owned his own real estate company in Virginia Beach and Reno, NV. I feel like I was born into it.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
AR: I was in property management prior to sales.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
AR: Nest has the best marketing for my clients and for myself. The office gives a relaxing fun feeling, and puts agents and their clients at ease from the beginning.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
AR: I’m passionate about helping and giving back. Most of my clients become life long friends. I have the best job in the world!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
AR: I’ve watched this small town grow into an amazing community of wonderful people. Being born and raised here gives me the upper hand on helping people.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
AR: My passion to help.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
AR: Determined, passionate, honest, caring, and hardworking.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
AR: Someone who is interested in a historic home. I’m passionate about the history of Fredericksburg, home searching through the historic district is like a vacation back in time. The charm is everywhere!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
AR: Hire an experienced agent, one who is familiar with not only the market and area, but also mortgage.
NR: What is your favorite season in Fredericksburg?
AR: Fall is beautiful here
