In this installment, we chat with Grace Robinson, a Realtor with Nest Realty in Asheville, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Asheville?
Grace Robinson: Raised in Raleigh, the mountains have been calling my name for a while. After graduating college, I jumped at the opportunity to pack up and move to this beautiful area.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
GR: Both of my parents are agents, so I grew up around the business. I knew from an early age that helping people acquire homeownership was what I wanted to do.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
GR: For me, it’s always been real estate. I majored in business and communications, which has served me quite well in helping my clients.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
GR: I love that it is relationship-based. That is how I grew up thinking of real estate, and I am glad that there are still firms out there that care about getting to know their clients and keeping that relationship alive well after closing.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
GR: Seeing a client’s face when we step into their dream home!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
GR: With a marketing background, I am able to offer sellers and buyers unparalleled exposure and attention to detail.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
GR: My willingness to go the extra mile. This is the biggest financial decision that most of my clients will make in their lifetime, and the fact that they trust me to help them with that is not something I take lightly.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
GR: Hardworking, detail oriented, loyal, sincere, and trustworthy.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
GR: Rachael Ray. She’s spunky and I just love a good kitchen!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
GR: Get an agent you trust!
NR: What is your favorite season in Asheville?
GR: Fall. I love seeing the leaves change.
