In this installment, we chat with LeAnn Bound, a Real Estate Broker at Nest Realty Asheville.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Asheville?
LeAnn Bound: I Love Love Love Asheville and all things outdoors. I relocated in 2000 from Orlando, Florida.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
LB: My husband and I starting a residential green building company in 2004 called Greencraft. I have been buying and selling real estate ever since.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
LB: Running a successful building company has filled me with pride and joy but it comes with tons of hard work and many problems to solve. I have learned the importance of really enjoying your work as it won’t always be easy and that there is always a solution.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
LB: Nest has a personable boutique feel but with the marketing and reach of a larger company. This is a great benefit to me and my clients.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
LB: Meeting people. Helping clients with all their home needs.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
LB: I have a lot experience in new construction and pre-construction, residential land development, and working with buyers and sellers.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
LB: My ability to find a solution when a challenge arises.
NR: What are seven adjectives that describe you?
LB: Hardworking, honest, diligent, kind, efficient, consistent, and attentive.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
LB: I enjoy all of my clients. Lately, I have really enjoyed working with retirees who are relocating to the area. It is a super fun and exciting time in their lives and their schedules are pretty flexible 🙂
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
LB: Chose a seasoned, reputable real state agent who understands the market and your home needs.
NR: What is your favorite season in Asheville?
LB: I love all the seasons in Asheville. My sweet family of 4 enjoys a different outdoor activity for every season. We have almost put away the kayaks for summer, still mountain biking this fall and looking forward to dusting off our skis and snowboards for the winter.
