During our “Meet the Nester” series we sit down with our team members to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry. In today’s installment, we chat with Charlottesville’s new Air Traffic Controller (that’s Nest-speak for office manager), Laura Kwiatkowski.
Nest Realty: First off, thank you, Laura, for taking the time to chat with us. Let’s start by talking about what interests you about the real estate industry.
Laura Kwiatkowski: Not only do I enjoy looking at and touring houses, I love the idea of being able to help someone find their home.
NR: So why work in a real estate office?
LK: I have had a passion for real estate for years now and want to become an agent one day. I wanted to work in a real estate office so that I can learn about the industry.
NR: You’ve recently moved back to Charlottesville. What’s you favorite time of the year in C’ville?!
LK: Fall! The leaves change colors and the weather outside is perfect.
NR: What’s YOUR idea of the perfect home?
LK: An open concept house with a backyard, located near friends and family.
NR: What do you think is the most important room in a house?
LK: The kitchen and family room because they are typically the focal points in a house, where everyone comes together.
NR: Who’s your dream celebrity client?
Laura: My idols, Beyoncé or Natalie Portman!
