Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to Durham?
Teisha Wymore: My dad was a software guy, and we lived here back in the ’70s…after following the software industry around the country, I came back to attend graduate school—and never left!
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
TW: 501 Nest has a huge presence in the area.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
TW: I have arrived at the intersection between being a strategic expert and a warm, confident friend during what is almost always a very important time for people—this is what makes it the best job ever!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
TW: Adaptability under pressure.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
TW: Be confident in me and you’ll get the best in the business.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
TW: Proactive, listener, creative, innovative, and authentic.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
TW: My dream client is a successful networker who likes to entertain, has a flair for a modern esthetic and sustainable architecture, and often asks me to help them make design choices!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
TW: Find out where you stand financially. Talk to a variety of lenders. Get the best option for your individual situation. This is a huge step—take it slowly and seriously.
NR: What is your favorite season in Durham?
TW: Fall is my favorite no matter where I am.
