Meet the Agent: Antonio Garcia

We’re proud of the team of agents we’ve assembled here at Nest Realty. We think they’re pretty awesome, and we think you will, too. During our “Meet the Agent” series, we sit down with our agents and brokers to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry.

In this installment, we chat with Antonio Garcia, a Broker with Nest Realty Asheville.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area?
Antonio Garcia: I’ve lived in Asheville for about 18 years now.

NR: How did you get into real estate?
AG: I worked coordinating Hispanic Ministry within the Catholic Church for about 16 years, and today I feel lucky to have had such great experience as my work as a Realtor will require the skills I have learned through these years.

NR: What led you to Nest, instead of another brokerage?
AG: The connection I had with other realtors already working for the firm.

NR: What’s your favorite part of being an agent?
AG: Getting to know my clients and investing time and energy on them in the process.

NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
AG: I am bilingual, and someone easy to get to know and talk to.

NR: What are five adjectives to describe you?
AG: Positive, considerate, helpful, approachable, team-player

NR: Who would be your dream client?
AG: A neighbor

NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
AG: An educated buyer will always make the right move.

NR: What’s your favorite season in Asheville?
AG: Fall. It’s never too hot or too cold!
