In this installment, we chat with Dave Pugh, an agent with Nest Realty in Greenville, South Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area?
Dave Pugh: We moved to Greenville from Michigan to escape the cold, but didn’t realize how wonderful it is here!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
DP: In Michigan, I took a class, but didn’t follow through until I met my friend Corinne, who encouraged me!
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
DP: I was a music teacher for many years. Working with volunteers for so long helped me learn how to work together to reach a goal.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
DP: My friend Corinne is the best Realtor I know, and I want to learn from the best.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
DP: Everything we do is fun for me. I love meeting new people and working to accomplish a goal with others.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
DP: I am also a financial advisor, so that background helps me to know the financial details needed to guide people to the best choices for their situation.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
DP: My experience has helped me to be very attentive to relational details and the energy in the room.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
DP: Optimistic, enthusiastic, outgoing, patient, and accommodating.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
DP: Ryan Serhant.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
DP: Be patient!
NR: What is your favorite season in Greenville?
DP: Fall.
