In this installment, we chat with Jacob Hein, an agent with Nest Realty in Louisville, Kentucky.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! How did you get into real estate?
Jacob Hein: A friend told me I had the talent to be a good agent, so I took the test and here I am!
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
JH: Project management. I learned how to be calm and collected in situations and handle crises with logical and efficient thinking.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
JH: The fact that everyone knows each other and it’s a big family here. I love the atmosphere and the people! Great coaching is important here, too.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
JH: Watching people find the house of their dreams and watching their faces light up when they get an accepted offer.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
JH: Buying and selling!
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
JH: I’m personable, and not in it for the paycheck. I’m here to meet your every need, and am always available seven days a week and all hours.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
JH: Honest, personable, hard-working, fun, and happy.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
JH: I consider myself a big numbers guy, so I’d have to go with Sheldon Cooper from The Big Bang Theory. Presenting everything in graphs would be super fun. 🙂
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
JH: Be patient and rely on your Realtor to guide you through the process. It’s what they’re there for.
NR: What is your favorite season in Louisville?
JH: Autumn. It’s very pretty here, and the weather is mild.
