In this in installment, we chat with Katie Lewis a Realtor at Nest Realty Jackson.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Jackson?
Katie Lewis: I was born and raised in the Haywood/Madison County area. After completing high school I went to college at Mississippi State University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Fashion Merchandising. After College I moved back to Tennessee and decided to make Jackson my home!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
KL: After completing college I moved back to Jackson and took a job with Nest Realty taking on the role of Operations Manager. Not knowing much about real estate at that time I was excited to learn all the ins and out of the selling and buying process. With the knowledge I received from observing in the real estate business I decided to jump in the Realtor role myself!
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
KL: My favorite part of being an agent is helping clients get their homes ready to sell by staging and also helping other clients find their dream homes. This is a major time in an individuals life and it is so rewarding getting to help during this season.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
KL: I am also an Expert Psychological Stager™ (EPS™) for the Central West Tennessee Area. I provide clients with a full range of home staging services including real estate staging, home decorating, space redesign, paint color consults, and more. I have successfully worked on projects providing staging consultations for occupied and vacant properties. I am apart of an elite group of home stagers who specialize in utilizing psychological staging to help sell for top dollar in the least amount of time. This is what I thinks sets myself apart from other Realtors.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
KL: Ambitious, Lively, Brave, Dedicated, Honest
NR: What is your favorite season in Jackson?
KL: Spring in Jackson is definitely my favorite!
