Meet the Agent: Ken Rudolph

agent: Ken Rudolph Nest Realty Asheville

We’re proud of the team of agents we’ve assembled here at Nest Realty. We think they’re pretty awesome, and we think you will too. During our “Meet the Agent” series, we sit down with our agents to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry. In this in installment, we chat with Ken Rudolph, a Real Estate Broker at Nest Realty Asheville.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Asheville?
Ken Rudolph: I’m a North Carolina native. Grew up near Greensboro, but went to NC State University, and then graduate school at the University of Utah. Also lived in Tacoma, WA prior to returning to NC.

NR: How did you get into real estate?
KR: Real estate really found me. I began by helping friends do research on their homes and realized how much I liked it.

NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
KR: Advertising and education. These gave me analytical and social skills.

NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
KR: I liked the idea of being at a boutique, nimble firm that does great marketing.

NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
KR: Helping clients find their new home, and seeing other peoples homes.

NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
KR: I am patient and take a steady approach.

NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
KR: Calm, low-key, respectful, considerate, and thorough.

NR: Who would be your dream client?
KR: Steve Martin. I think he’s incredibly bright.

NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
KR: Choose the right agent. Someone you click with.

NR: What is your favorite season in Asheville?
KR: Spring and fall. OK, I know that’s two, but they’re both incredible here!
