In this installment, we chat with Lauren Patton, an agent in Asheville, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area?
Lauren Patton: I’ve lived here for only 6 months. I was captivated by the natural beauty of Asheville and the friendly people here. I love the uniqueness of the town and all it has to offer.
Nest Realty: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
Lauren Patton: I spent 13 years working in public service prior to switching to real estate. It taught me to serve my community with integrity and I bring those values with me to real estate. I think real estate is exciting and I like to envision a place’s potential for change.
Nest Realty: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
Lauren Patton: Nest Realty is one of the top brokerages in Asheville, they have amazing branding, a modern approach to real estate, and the friendliest agents!
Nest Realty: What’s your favorite part of being an agent?
Lauren Patton: I love meeting new people and hearing their story!
Nest Realty: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
Lauren Patton: Relocation!
Nest Realty: What are five adjectives that describe you?
Lauren Patton: Responsive, trustworthy, driven, friendly, and professional.
Nest Realty: Who would be your dream client?
Lauren Patton: My Mom! I would love to get her to move closer.
Nest Realty: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
Lauren Patton: Learn as much about the process as possible. Do your own research, but also find trust in professionals to guide you through the process. I’d also tell them to hang in there!
Nest Realty: What’s your favorite season?
Lauren Patton: I love fall in Asheville. I think it’s magical and the weather is amazing during that time!
