During our “Meet the Agent” series, we sit down with our agents and brokers to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry.
In this installment, we chat with Leandro Roselli, a Nest Realtor in Asheville, North Carolina.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area? How long have you lived here?
Leandro Roselli: I came to Asheville as a kid, and I have lived in Asheville for 21 years
NR: If you are new to real estate? what was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
LR: I have worked in the construction and hospitality industry for the past 20 years in Asheville. Working in construction has given me knowledge about housing and hospitality and the ability to read and understand our clients.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
LR: I attended an AVL meet up, and I had the privilege of hearing Angie sharing her personal and professional thoughts. That night Angie was asked a series of questions, and I liked how Angie answered every question with knowledge as well as being herself. After interviewing a few other brokerages, I chose Nest because it was more personal, local, and professional. Plus, I had Jared, The Barkers, and other agent friends saying that Nest is absolutely amazing to work with.
NR: What’s your favorite part of being an agent?
LR: Doing what I love. Working in the real estate world, I can help people find their dream home or investment property.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
LR; I have construction expertise to offer. I have done new construction, remodels, and additions. I also have great customer service experience.
NR: What are five adjectives to describe you?
LR: Passionate, Resourceful, Creativity, Reliable, Ambitious
NR: Who would be your dream client?
LR: My dream client is the dreamer. As an immigrant coming from a low-income household, I was raised on a dream of one day becoming a homeowner and having my own house to call home. The feeling of when you take your first steps into your new home. . . that was a magical moment for me!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
LR: Do not have a car payment or don’t buy a new car… yet. Don’t be afraid and talk to a lender about loan options.
NR: What’s your favorite season? Why?
LR: My favorite season is summer. I love being outside, mountain biking, grilling, and enjoying summer festivals with family and friends.
