Meet the Agent: Lucas Taylor

We’re proud of the team of agents we’ve assembled here at Nest Realty. We think they’re pretty awesome, and we think you will, too. During Nest Stories’ “Meet the Agent” series, we sit down with our agents and brokers to learn more about them, what makes them tick, and why they’re passionate about the real estate industry.

In this installment, we chat with Lucas Taylor, an agent in Asheville, North Carolina.

Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area?
Lucas Taylor: I came to Asheville to relocate from the coast to the mountains and have lived here for 11 years.

Nest Realty: How did you get into real estate? How long have you been practicing?
LT: I got into real estate during the pandemic. During that time I did a lot of reflecting on how I wanted my life to be and decided to make a transition into Real Estate. I have been practicing for two years.

Nest Realty: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
LT: My previous career was Hospitality. Offering a high level of customer service is a continued practice.

Nest Realty: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
LT: The strong marketing, community presence, and broker support.

Nest Realty: What’s your favorite part of being an agent?
LT: The flexibility.

Nest Realty: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
LT: Finding their dream home.

Nest Realty: What are five adjectives to describe you?
Creative, Energetic, Friendly, Respectful, Reliable

Nest Realty: Who would be your dream client? (This can be funny—a famous person, or celebrity, or a general type of person.)
LT: My dog. Finding her a gently sloping, wooded lot with river access.

Nest Realty: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
LT: Trust in your decision. Be prepared to take in a lot of information in a short period of time.

Nest Realty: What’s your favorite season here?
LT: Fall. It would be Spring but I get bad allergies!
