In this installment, we chat with Michael Stokes, a Nest Realtor in Lake Norman, NC.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area? How long have you lived here
Michael Stokes: My family moved to Denver in 1999! My wife and I moved back in 2018.
NR: How did you get into real estate? How long have you been practicing?
MS: I developed an interest in real estate in college. I got my license in 2020.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
MS: Having been friends with a fellow Nest agent in the Wilmington office, I was able to see firsthand how the tools Nest provides their agents allow them to be successful!
NR: What’s your favorite part of being an agent?
MS: Watching my clients create the life they dreamed of in the home I helped them find!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
MS: Having lived in both Denver and Charlotte, I am well-versed in the greater Charlotte area.
NR: What are five adjectives to describe you?
MS: Funny, Reliable, Clear Communicator, Proactive, Thoughtful
NR: Who would be your dream client?
MS: Someone who needs to move every two years!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
MS: Don’t wait, find a trusted realtor who can lay out a plan that you can understand.
NR: What’s your favorite season? Why?
MS: Fall, it’s not hot but not too cold! And it’s my birthday!
