In this installment, we chat with Taylor Spalding, an agent with Nest Realty in Louisville, Kentucky.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! What brought you to the area?
Taylor Spalding: I was born and raised right here in Louisville, Kentucky.
NR: How did you get into real estate?
TS: I grew up with a father that was a residential builder and an uncle that is in real estate! I always knew I wanted to get my hands in the real estate business somehow, some way!
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
TS: I have worked for a financial institution for the biggest chunk of my career! For the past year, I worked more specifically with mortgages and I do believe it has given me knowledge that will help me in my real estate career.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
TS: Nest has an incredible group of Brokers and agents! They have a ton of knowledge and are very welcoming. I also love the in-house marketing materials!
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
TS: Being able to help people find their dream home!
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
TS: I am still new to being an agent, so not yet! I am just trying to learn as much as I can right now!
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
TS: I genuinely love to help people. I can’t think of a more rewarding job than to help somebody find a home that they will love to come home to at the end of every long day.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
TS: Dedicated, loyal, trustworthy, enthusiastic, and honest.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
TS: Somebody that will have me hunting down a beautiful and luxurious home with amenities that most can only dream of! Like the ones we see in all of those celebrities’ social media posts!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
TS: Budget and take your time finding the right house for you!
NR: What is your favorite season in Louisville?
TS: SUMMER!
