In this in installment, we chat with Tina McLeod, a Broker at Nest Realty Triangle.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to the Triangle?
Tina McLeod: I am originally from upstate NY but have spent almost half of my life in North Carolina, so I consider myself a southerner. Snow or humidity? Bring on the hot weather!
NR: How did you get into real estate?
TM: I needed to be licensed to sell a retirement community years ago and have kept my license active ever since.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
TM: I have spent many years selling and marketing various types of retirement housing. It is all about the relationship and customer service.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
TM: I know both cofounders and respect their work. I love the service oriented approach to selling real estate and the tremendous resources available to do my job better for my clients.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
TM: Finding the perfect place for people to call home.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
TM: I love architecture and design and can help clients envision different scenarios on how a house can change and evolve.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
TM: I am a relationship builder and will do what it takes to bring success in all situations.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
TM: Loyal, trustworthy, conscientious, cheerful and outgoing.
NR: Who would be your dream client?
TM: I would love to work with Chip and Joanna Gaines!
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
TM: Spend a lot of time really thinking about what you absolutely want and need in a home and what you can live without.
NR: What is your favorite season in the Triangle?
TM: Spring!
