Nest Realty Wilmington is Hiring an Accounting & Transaction Manager

Transaction Manager

Nest Realty is looking for an Accounting & Transaction Manager to join our team.

What does a Nest Accounting & Transaction Manger do? You’ll ensure that our accounting functions—including commission payments, payables, receivables, general ledgers, and reconciliations—are in order and running smoothly. Read on to learn more.

We’re a different kind of real estate brokerage with offices in 15 markets and five states. Here in Wilmington, North Carolina, we operate two busy offices: one in Mayfaire (near Wrightsville Beach), and the other in Carolina Beach. Our difference is born from our belief that buying and selling a home is one of the most important decisions our clients will ever make.

This belief guides us to measure success by something more than the number of yard signs we plant, how many Brokers we hire, or the awards we win. For us, true success comes from helping people move easily and joyfully into the next chapter of their lives. So “the process” of buying and selling real estate becomes one that’s happy, exhilarating, fun, and well worth sharing.

Unlike most real estate firms, we don’t hire every Broker who walks through the door. Quite the contrary. Every Nest Broker is a full-time professional with a singular focus on providing an amazing real estate experience for every one of our buyers and sellers.

The result is a company built on the excellence and commitment of an accomplished team of Brokers, whose ultimate reward comes from the satisfaction they get from happy clients.

At Nest, we see ourselves as a true partner for each of our agents by offering operational, branding, technology, strategic, design, and marketing support. Nest offers much more than templated systems, out-of-the-box technology, and watered-down marketing programs.

We provide a locally focused, customized, and personalized service that we blend with a best-in-class marketing platform to provide a backbone to our agents.

Think of Nest as a combination of an integrated creative agency, operations team, and strategic partner to support and help our agents grow.

As a Nest Accounting & Transaction Manager, you will join a team of professionals in our Wilmington, North Carolina, office. Your main role will be to ensure that our agents are paid accurately and in a timely fashion. However, there’s much more to the position than just that.

You’ll be responsible for our accounts payable process to ensure that our third party vendors and partners are paid accurately and on time. In addition, you’ll work closely with our accounting and operations teams to generate ongoing invoices for receivables—this includes billing for agent marketing and other services.

You’ll also play a key role in verifying accounts by reconciling statements on an ongoing basis.

Overall, we’re searching for a team player who is proactive and desires to join an organization where we can help you get better and you can help us get better.
