We hope these inspire you to love where you live even more than you already do!

The third must-do for this summer is to celebrate summer at Augusta County Fair. From August 1st to 5th, the Augusta Expo event center will host a fair for all ages. With the mission of “promoting a fun-filled family fair to the residents of Augusta County and surrounding areas through agricultural, entertainment, and fun,” (AugustaExpo.com) the Augusta fair has something for everyone!

General admission is only $5 per person, with discounted prices for children. It’s $3 for kids ages 6-12 and free admission for kids age 5 and under. The money even goes to a good cause! Augusta County Fair aims to promote agricultural and commerce through the Shenandoah Valley, so they continue to give back to the community by assisting local organizations.

Additionally, the Augusta Fair website offers several ticket discounted ride deals online until July 21st. Fill out the information form offered on the website, including details such as address, name, and phone number. You will be eligible to receive a wristband that will give you unlimited access to rides for ONE day for only $12 compared to a value of $25! What a deal!

In terms of actual events and programming, Augusta County fair has several events spanning all five days that will keep you entertained! First, there is a track which hosts events, such as motorcross, dirt drags, and tractor pulls. These events cost an extra $10 for admission with a $5 fee to park on Redneck Hill. Also, a detailed list of events can be found on their events page, but highlights include a gospel night, community event night, and petting zoo! Head on over for agricultural education events, fun rides, fair food, and wild track programs!
