Northern Virginia Summer Bucket List: Leesburg Animal Park

In Nest Realty’s Summer Bucket List Series, we’ll highlight five of our favorite summer activities around town. After you tackle our bucket list, let us know which adventure was your favorite! Send a photo or leave a comment about your day in the sun. We hope these inspire you to love where you live even more than you already do!

The first item on our list of must-do summer activities in Northern Virginia is to go on an adventure to Leesburg Animal Park. The Animal Park is a family-owned and operated business with animal petting and feeding, pony and wagon rides, live animal shows, and playgrounds. It’s perfect for anyone that loves animals, as it has everything from alpacas to sloths to zebras!

If you have a birthday coming up, consider having it at the Animal Park, which hosts Safari and Adventure Party packages! Check out the website for package deals. Or, if you’re hosting an event elsewhere, consider Leesburg Animal Park’s unique “Zoo-To-You” program, which brings animals and handlers for fairs, school events, and birthday parties.

The park is closed on Mondays and holidays, but open every Tuesday-Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. Purchase tickets online or at the park; as of June 2017, an adult pass is $12.95, and a kid’s pass is $9.95. Season passes are also available. Swing by and see the animals!
