One of the first projects Nest Realty tackled upon opening a Fredericksburg office was expanding our award-winning “Live Where You Love” video series to tell the many stories of the area. What was the subject of our first video? Downtown Fredericksburg of course!
Living in Downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia is like stepping back in time. The Downtown atmosphere takes you back to when your neighbors knew your name. Downtown Fredericksburg streets still have alleys that the milk man would use to drop fresh milk on your back porch. The local coffee shop is run by your 3rd grade teacher’s son and the vegetables you buy at the Farmer’s Market are grown down the street on Snead’s Farm. With its own government and single school system, Fredericksburg offers that small town feel; but only an hour from 2 metropolitan areas.
