My family started looking for a house in early 2023. From the moment we met Matthew at the first home we viewed, we knew Matthew. was the agent to work with going forward. My family looked at multiple houses and Matthew was always quick to show us the homes in a timely manner. He never rushed us while we looked at the homes either. Matthew is also a good listener and did his best to recommend homes to us that may peak our interest based off of what we told him. During this period, we made a few offers, and two of them didn’t work out in our favor. Even though this is disappointing for a buyer, Matthew was always encouraging us to keep trying with other homes, yet at the same time, respected us if we needed to “take a break” from looking at homes for a bit. Then one day, while my family was looking at random houses on our own, Matthew texted us the home we would eventually purchase. He was very knowledgeable throughout the home buying process and answered any and all questions that we had. Matthew served as our agent for buying our forever home, then selling our existing home. He helped us navigate buying before ever listing the home we lived in. We had never done it in this order before, but the real estate market necessitated being as nimble as possible so that we didn’t lose out on homes which were hitting the market and selling in record time. Matthew definitely has a pulse on real estate trends in the entire Augusta/Nelson/Albemarle region.He and his assistant professionally staged our home, then had aerial drone video record the exterior and interior of the home. These were used along with professional photography of the staged home as part of Matthew’s high end Marketing Plan.
