Seller's Scoop

  • View: The mountain views in rear home & yard an abundance of beauty and naturistic wonder from dawn to dusk, star-filled sky at night, and through the four-seasons, seeing blooms, birds, and the occasional white squirrel brings such harmony to the surroundings.
  • Room: We love the great room with the large picturesque window to view the backyard and mountains. We also enjoy relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the front porch and by the firepit in the backyard.
  • Tree: There is a glorious magnolia tree in the backyard that provides beautiful flowers and shade on a warm sunny day. Also there are maples, redbuds, and a variety of evergreens to add depth and dimension to garden.
  • Walk: We enjoy walking in the neighborhood during the morning and early evenings; there are wooded trails by the fishing pond and a trail in the green space located by the French Broad River in the back of the neighborhood.
  • Hike: Our favorite places to hike include Triple Falls in Dupont Forest, Mt Pisgah, Bearwallow Mountain, Carl Sandburg House, and Chimney Rock. We like to bike or take long walks in Mills River Park, Summit Lake, Lake Lure, and Fletcher Park.
  • Breakfast: Biscuit Head in South Asheville; Kostas Kitchen in Fletcher; Joey's New York Bagels in Hendersonville
  • Lunch: Tupelo Honey in South Asheville; Mezzaluna in downtown Hendersonville
  • Dinner: Shine in downtown Hendersonville; West First wood-fired in downtown Hendersonville.
  • Living Here Has Been: Living in our home has been an incredible journey filled with fond and wonderful memories we will always cherish. We raised our children here and watched them grow into successful young adults. We created a garden with each flower, perennial, tree, shrub, and stone carefully hand-picked and thoughtfully placed within the property to enhance the landscape and mountain views. We also loved experiencing the four seasons here, especially during autumn as there is a wealth of leaf-looking viewing areas in WNC to absorb. While we have made a lot of good memories here, and will miss the magnificent flowering blooms of colorful artistry in the yard along with majestic mountain background, we think it is definitely a lovely home ready to be enjoyed and treasured by you too.
