In this installment, we chat with Alicia Wells, a Broker with Nest Realty in Louisville, Kentucky, and Southern Indiana.
Nest Realty: Tell us a bit about yourself! Where are you from? What brought you to Louisville?
Alicia Wells: I am from Corydon, Indiana. I moved to Louisville four years ago. I love the city and the community.
NR: What was your previous career? How has that prepared you for real estate?
AW: I have a nursing degree. I have a passion for helping others. Everyone wants that American dream, and I want to help those who thought it wasn’t possible.
NR: What led you to Nest Realty, as opposed to another brokerage?
AW: I love the sense of family we have at Nest—not just among the agents here, but also with our clients.
NR: What is your favorite part of being an agent?
AW: Meeting new people and helping those buy that first home when they never thought it was possible.
NR: Do you have a specific area of expertise to offer clients?
AW: I am a listing and buyer specialist.
NR: What makes you different from other agents? What sets you apart?
AW: I treat everyone like I would want if it was my personal family buying a home, plus I build lasting relationships with my clients. I am organized, punctual, and experienced with the buying and selling of homes.
NR: What are five adjectives that describe you?
AW: Real, strong, unwavering, determined, and caring.
NR: If you had one piece of advice for a first-time home buyer, what would it be?
AW: You can do it and you deserve it. It can seem like a long and frustrating process at times, but I am here with you the whole way.
NR: What is your favorite season in Louisville?
AW: Spring and summer. I love all the outdoor concerts, festivals, and the Kentucky Derby.
