Solar Power Efficiency

Solar power is good for the planet, and your wallet.

Fresh from the first weekend of the BRHBA‘s 52nd Annual Parade of Homes, 1070 WINA News Radio and Michael Guthrie’s podcast “Real Estate Matters” recently spoke to Nest Realty’s Greg Slater and Sigora Solar’s Joni Lane to hear why solar power efficiency is back in a big way.

By taking responsibility for the energy that you consume through a solar system, you can now expect not only to decrease your energy usage, but also to increase the value of your home. The latest United States Department of Energy report, Selling into the Sun, suggests that a $20,000 home value increase is possible. To learn if you’re suitable for a solar system and to obtain a preliminary proposal, all you need is your address and your utility bill.

Listen to the full Solar Power Efficiency podcast here, as Guthrie, Greg Slater, and friends discuss the new advantages to going solar, whether you’re looking to buy a new property, or you’re hoping to invest in your current property.
