- Tree: My favorite tree has to be the Maple. It reflects the seasons as it leafs out in Spring, shades the summer sun, turns red in the Fall, and finally loses its leaves for Winter. But don’t leave out the dogwood, blueberry bushes, rhododendron and laurels!
- Walk: The neighborhood is active with folks walking through the neighborhood. If you want to leave the neighborhood, just across the street is Woodfin Riverside Park, which has paved walkways along the French Broad River, picnic tables and benches.
- Hike: Kayakers and canoeists have access to the French Broad River at the park across the street. Richmond Hill Park is just a quick drive and offers miles of trails through the forest (and disc golf)! The Woodfin Whitewater Wave project is in the works.
- Breakfast: There are so many food options! For breakfast, we like to walk to High Five Coffee.
- Lunch: Just a short drive and you can go to Five Points Restaurant for a local diner experience or to White Duck for some awesome tacos.
- Dinner: A particular favorite is BBQ at Iron and Oak Brisket Co where you can also grab a craft beer at Riverside Rhapsody Beer Company and listen to live music on their outdoor stage.
